This season of Lent has been one of the best ever for me personally. I would like to share with you a few thoughts about my experience. A little background: The church service I attend is called “Light and Life” and is lead by a Coptic (Egyptian) Orthodox Priest, who I consider a friend = Father Anthony Messeh. He is a gifted speaker, who comes from the down to earth angle, yet can’t help but be an evangelist for Christ. Occasionally he kicks off these “series” that integrate through the entire church and all of its out-reach/in-reach. Enough background: He challenged the entire group to commit to reading a daily devotional called “40 Days to Live” and I was looking to get back into the discipline.
